The provision of additional fire safety at the UPS/SERVER Rooms within the Supreme Court Building at the Brisbane Supreme Courthouse in Brisbane.  The completed works have had the following installed: 

• Additional split ac units in the UPS Rooms. 

• Replacement of the air-conditioning dampers from temperature activated (fusible links) to a motorized system. 

• Install Aspirating Smoke Detection (ASD – VESDA or similar) as an early detection for smoke. 

• Provide new standalone gaseous fire suppression systems to all unprotected UPS rooms. 

• Automatic shutdown of the power supply to these rooms in the event of a gaseous discharge.
