The PAH Cladding Removal and Replacement Project comprises of the careful removal and replacement of around 17,000m2 (circa 10,000 panels) of polyethylene cored aluminium composite panels (ACP) which form a rain shield/sun shade façade to the majority of the main hospital building and are deemed non-conforming with the current National Construction Code. Work also includes the removal and replacement of ACP cladding to the central energy plant and renal buildings which are also clad in this material.

The key benefit provided on this project is significantly improved public safety and asset protection following on from recent national and international cases of combustible cladding endangering the lives of occupants of building clad with non-conforming building products.
